I describe my writing as a “vernacular” (n) for head and neck cancer treatment, as I believe we have our own language once we have experienced treatment.

You become part of a tribe of people who are special and are the only ones that truly understand what it’s like to live with such brutal side effects.

(defn: Vernacular: The language or dialect spoken by the ordinary people in a particular country or region.
